Joining RMSC for the First Time?

If you are new to masters swimming and are not sure whether you are ready to join, you are welcome to watch any of our practices from the pool deck and to speak with the coach and/or swimmers who are at the practice.

The practice times are listed here. Please email welcome@rmsca.ca to let us know your name and at which practice we can expect to see you.

Registration Process

  1. To join the club, you must submit your registration form, the PIPEDA consent form and your cheque to the club registrar. If you miss the registration collection sessions held at the beginning of the swim year, you can mail your registration to the address on the bottom of the registration form.

The package of registration forms for 2018-2019 includes:

    • RMSC's registration form
      • This form provides RMSC's fee schedule and membership options.

      • You must indicate whether you permit RMSC to contact you by email on club and swimming related matters.

      • You must indicate that you have read and agree to abide by the RMSC Lane Etiquette guidelines.

    • RMSC’s “Getting to Know You” form

      • This form lets you describe your swimming experience and goals to our coaches.

    • A letter from Swim Saskatchewan explaining registration
    • Swim Saskatchewan's Personal Information Protection & Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) Consent Form

      • This form gives Swim Sask limited permission to use the personal information submitted on your registration form.

  2. Swimming Canada has its own online registration system that all Masters swimmers must be entered into. Once our club and Swim Sask have processed your registration form, you will be emailed instructions on how to complete your account in the Swimming Canada database.

Please allow 2 weeks from the time registration is submitted in order to be fully registered and insured. You will be notified via email when your registration is finalized and you can start swimming.

Joining mid-year

Individuals who join the club after September will have the RMSC portion of their membership fee prorated to reflect the number of months remaining in the swim year. For example, someone who joins during July would pay one-sixth of the annual fee, since two months remain in the swim year.

The Swim Sask portion of late-joiners’ fees cannot be prorated.

Refund Policy

Requests for refunds of the balance of the yearly fee should be submitted in writing to the Treasurer. Submissions should include a rationale for the request (medical, relocation, etc). Approval of refunds will be at the discretion of the RMSC Board.
