One-week Free Tryout

If you have not previously been a member of RMSC, you may attend a week of practices free of charge to try out our club. You will need to complete the registration process if you wish to join our club and continue to attend practices.

Registration Process

  1. To join the club, you must submit your registration form, the PIPEDA consent form and your cheque to the club registrar. Come to any practice and look for a member of the club's executive; they can direct your registration to the registrar.

The package of registration forms for 2016-2017 includes:

    • RMSC's registration form
      • This form provides RMSC's fee schedule and membership options.

      • You must indicate whether you permit RMSC to contact you by email on club and swimming related matters.

      • You must indicate that you have read and agree to abide by the RMSC Lane Etiquette guidelines.

    • A letter from Swim Saskatchewan explaining registration
    • RMSC’s “Getting to Know You” form

      • This form lets you describe your swimming experience and goals to our coaches.

    • Swim Saskatchewan's Personal Information Protection & Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) Consent Form

      • This form gives Swim Sask limited permission to use the personal information submitted on your registration form.

  2. Swimming Canada has its own online registration system that all Masters swimmers must be entered into. Once our club and Swim Sask has processed your registration form, you will be emailed instructions on how to complete your account in the Swimming Canada database.

Only once you have completed both steps will you be considered registered and covered by our insurance policy. Please ensure that you complete your online Swimming Canada account as soon as possible.

You must submit and complete the registration process within two weeks of attending a practice.

Joining mid-year

Individuals who join the club after September will have the RMSC portion of their membership fee prorated to reflect the number of months remaining in the swim year. For example, someone who joins during July would pay one-sixth of the annual fee, since two months remain in the swim year.

The Swim Sask portion of late-joiners’ fees cannot be prorated.

Refund Policy

Requests for refunds of the balance of the yearly fee should be submitted in writing to the Treasurer. Submissions should include a rationale for the request (medical, relocation, etc). Approval of refunds will be at the discretion of the RMSC Board.
