a) Leave requested during the Fall session -
member would be entitled to a refund equal to the
total amount paid minus the 'full' value of the Fall session.
Example: Refund is 425 - 175 = $250 (request must
be made before the start on the Winter session).
b) Leave requested after the start of the
Winter session but before Jan. 31 member would receive a refund equal to 50% of the Winter
session plus the summer session. However, if the request comes after Jan. 31
then the only refund would be for the summer.
Example: Refund is 0.5(200) + 100 = $200 (after
Jan. 31 and before summer session starts the refund
would be $100)

Policy
1. RMSC will allow swimmers to apply for a credit
equal to 50% of the full-term cost.
2. Application for credit will be accepted ONLY
during the fall and winter terms.
3. Credits must be applied for BY September 30th
for the fall term, or BY January 31st for
the winter term. Credits will not be given during
the summer term.
4. Credits must be used within the same swim year
(i.e., September 1 to August 31 of the following
year) as the application. For example, credits
applied for in September may be used against fees
for either the winter OR the summer term (not both).
Credits applied for in January may only be used
against the summer term.
5. If the credit amount is greater than the price of
the term, the difference will NOT be refunded, nor
can it be applied against future terms.
6. For those who have paid for a full swim year in
advance, credits will be determined on a
case-by-case basis.
7. This credit policy will take effect as of
January, 2007 and is not retroactive. Swim Sask fees
are not included in the credit.
8.
Application for credit must be directed to the
President of the club (currently Nick Mosienko).
For example, if you became ill during the month of
January and decided not to swim, you would have
until January 31st to ask for a credit.
If you had paid the full price of $175 for the
winter term, you would receive a credit of $87.50
which could be applied to the summer term. Since the
summer term only costs $85, you could apply your
credit to that amount. You would NOT be refunded the
extra $2.50, nor could you apply that amount to
future terms, as they do not fall within the same
swim year.
